Dick hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota. A 1968 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Dick served in Vietnam, Germany, Australia, and at several stateside posts in the US during his distinguished 21-year army career. Since retiring from active duty in 1989, he has been a full-time professional magician and mentalist. Dick's clients include Fortune 500 companies and professional sports teams.

He is a member of the Psychic Entertainers Association.

Dick resides near Baltimore with his wife and two children. In addition to magic and mentalism, his interests include sports, Scrabble, and oldies-but-goodies music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's.

He was named "Best Magician" by Baltimore Magazine, 1996.
