Meet Dasan, better known as Tumbleweed Tex. He performs True Lies of the Old West, authenticity mixed with fantasy and frivolity. While Tex is known for his ability to write satire, humor songs, and parodies, he is an authentic cowboy balladeer and old west historian. This authenticity comes from growing up with men and women who lived in the old west. Great Grandad George (1861-1953 bronc buster, cowboy), Great Uncle Shird (1882-1977 saloon man, drifter), Grandpa Jake (1886-1986 cowboy, railroad engineer, stage driver), and Great Grandma Sara Jane (1853-1948 frontier wife and mother). When Tex performs he mixes history and heritage with humor songs and stories. His program includes trick roping, a history and demonstration of cattle brands, a yodeling contest, and a question and answer period.
