As you might suspect from the name, the band Island Breeze plays music from the Caribbean Islands. The name however doesn't reveal the depth of the musicians. Besides inciting thousands of people to dance on cruise ships, at resorts in the Caribbean, and at numerous series of school concerts. , the member of Island Breeze, have also traveled all over the globe playing and recording many other styles of music with the likes of Master drummer Baba Olatunji, and jazz organist Brother Jack McDuff, plus performing full time in NYC's Broadway musicals.

When you listen to Island Breeze, don't be surprised if you hear African, Brazilian, jazz, Salsa and R&B influences mixed in with their Calypso, Reggae and Socca. And, don't be surprised if you can't keep your feet from moving to the rhythm of the steel drums and percussion of Island Breeze. Can't get to the Caribbean? Sound Reinforcement Requirements:

• Drums: bass drum mic; snare/hi-hat mic; plus 2 overheads; Guitar may be used for background music. (no dancing)
• Bass: take line out of bass amp; mic on stand for vocals
• Latin Percussion: two mics on congas; 1 mic above for shakers, etc.
• Steel Drum: 1 omni-directional mic under steel drum; 1 mic on stand with boom for vocals and announcing.
  
  Accessibility to the loading dock and parking for 3 vehicles.
