Phyllis Love

Phyllis Love, pianist-singer, has appeared in the Greater New York area's finest hotels and restaurants, including: The Waldorf=Astoria Hotel, Garden City Hotel, Vista International Hotel, the restaurants in the World Trade Center, Mama Leone's, The Park 10 Restaurant, The Rainbow Room Suites, etc. Ms. Love has also appeared on the Sid Bernstein Show in June 1990 and on the Joe Franklin Show in August 1990. She has traveled and been featured with the Bill Lombardo Orchestra at society events throughout the country, including the Petroleum Club in Texas.

Her sound is a mellow, sophisticated one, reminiscent of the thirties and forties. She has an extensive repertoire including the best of the thirties, forties and right up to the present.

Ms. Love composed the movie score for the full length feature "Brighty of the Grand Canyon", a children's Western starring Joseph Cotten. She has also written and sung on many jingles and short commercial films and is a member of ASCAP.

Her style is often reminiscent of Big Band era vocalists.
