 The Legendary Tenors is a show that bridges the entire span of the 20th century! Music has come a long way in the last 100 years and this show pays tribute to some of the vocalists responsible with authenticity and a little humor! Enrico Caruso, Mario Lanza and Andrea Bocelli! The Legendary Tenors have been captivating audiences across North America since 1999. Past performances have been from Napa Valley, California to Miami, Florida and from coast to coast in Canada.
The most influential vocalist at the turn of the 1900’s was Enrico Caruso. He was the world’s first superstar and Legendary Tenors, Andrea Garofalo portrays this man with great panache! Wearing tails and a top hat he swaggers onto stage with the same confidence Caruso was famous for and sings some of the well-known songs that shaped Caruso’s career and transformed him into a truly legendary tenor. After Caruso, there were many other great tenors but one particularly stood out for his wonderful voice, charisma and “Hollywood” good looks. Mario Lanza made such a mark that he still has many fans all over the world. Singing songs from some of Mario Lanza’s most famous Hollywood movies, Legendary Tenors Peter Marino does an incredible job portraying him, dressed in a custom made coat that Lanza was to wear in the movie version of “The Student Prince”. The most significant tenor to arrive at the end of the 20th century is one known for bridging the gap between opera and popular music creating a “new genre”. Andrea Bocelli has sold more cd’s than any other opera singer in history and with Bocelli’s beautiful, romantic melodies, Legendary Tenors Mitch Seekins is truly able to pay this great artist tribute. The Legendary Tenors show performs the most unforgettable solo’s of each of these great artists, then transforms into a animated and fun loving set of the most beloved 3 Tenor songs and arias! From “O’Sole Mio” to Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma” accompanied by wonderfully orchestrated tracks (and/or piano if needed) the Legendary Tenors will captivate and charm any audience!
